Muslims must adhere to Islamic law () and avoid being influenced by Western propaganda that contradicts it. It is permissible for males to voluntarily and willingly waive their right to inheritance in favor of their sisters, but it is not permissible if the the waiver is due to shyness or embarrassment, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The property of a Muslim is not lawful except with his willing consent." The matter of inheritances is serious and requires being brought before Sharia courts for investigation to ensure there are no other heirs, wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
