What is the interpretation of a man's feeling that his wife might go out without his knowledge and meet another person, and how can he address this feeling?

If your feeling is based on credible evidence, then investigate the matter and do not neglect your household. However, if it is merely excessive jealousy or suspicion, then avoid it, for Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin." The jealousy that Allah loves is jealousy concerning doubt, and the jealousy that He dislikes is jealousy without doubt. Do not surprise your family by returning at night if you have been absent for a long time, out of fear of suspecting them. We advise you not to allow suspicions and satanic whispers to ruin your home. The remedy for this is to fear Allah, to have good thoughts, to cut off the devil's whispers, and to seek Allah's help.
