When is the supplication "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave" recited during the prayer for forgetfulness prostrations (sujood as-sahw)? Is it before or after them?

Scholars differ on the precise timing of the prostration of forgetfulness (sujood as-sahw). The most authoritative view is that it can be either before or after the salutation (tasleem), depending on the specific circumstance. As for supplication (du'a), it is always performed before the salutation. If the prostration of forgetfulness is performed before the salutation, then it comes after the tashahhud and the supplications within it, as evidenced by the actions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. If the prostration of forgetfulness is performed after the salutation, then it is even more fitting that the supplication would have already been completed during the tashahhud.
