What is the ruling on a woman suckling her paternal half-sister, and how is the suckled child's lineage attributed?

It is permissible for a woman to breastfeed her sister from her father's side, or other children, when there is a need and with her husband's permission. She must remember this and inform others about it. It is disliked for a woman to breastfeed a boy without her husband's permission, unless there is fear of the infant's perishing. If a woman breastfeeds her sister five times within the two years (of infancy), the nursed child becomes her daughter, the nursing woman's husband becomes her father, and the nursing woman's children become her siblings through suckling.
