Is seeing the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a dream, kissing him, and embracing him a sign of faith? Is it permissible to inform friends and relatives of this without falling into hypocrisy? And is the image seen in the dream his true image (peace be upon him)?

Seeing the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in his established form as described in the authentic Sunnah, is among the glad tidings, for Satan cannot impersonate him. Whoever sees him in a dream has truly seen him, and it is a good vision for which Allah is praised and which may be recounted. It is not a condition that the seer be a righteous man.
