What is the ruling on disposing of money earned from an illusory increase in the number of workers, and is it permissible to spend from it on family and charitable deeds, and is it considered deception if this practice is common knowledge?

It is not permissible to take a salary obtained through deception and fraud, unless the questioner will work and supervise projects, and the contract can be corrected with the office owner to make it valid. However, if the salary is in exchange for deception and fraud, then it is forbidden and must be disposed of for the benefit of Muslims or given to the poor and needy. It is not permissible to give it to parents unless they are poor and in need. The money should not be returned to its owner so that he does not combine both the recompense and that for which recompense was given. Custom does not change the Shariah ruling. The contract must be terminated unless it is corrected to be in exchange for real work.
