What is better when a prayer from the current day becomes invalid while making up missed prayers: to prioritize re-performing the current day's prayer, or to continue making up the missed prayers and then re-perform the current day's prayer? And does a prayer re-performed due to invalidity take the same rulings as missed prayers?

If a prayer becomes invalid but its time has not yet expired, it must be made up immediately before other missed prayers. If the invalidation becomes apparent after the time has expired, the prayer becomes a missed prayer (fāʾitah). The order of making up missed prayers is a matter of scholarly disagreement; the preponderant opinion is that it is not obligatory, but it is recommended to avoid disagreement. Some scholars consider ordering obligatory, so the worshiper makes up the older missed prayers first, then the recently missed prayer. The Malikis hold that ordering is obligatory but not a condition, so if it is violated, the prayer is valid but sinful. A prayer whose invalidity becomes apparent after its time has expired takes the ruling of all other missed prayers in all respects.
