How long should the word "Amen" be prolonged when uttered, and is it legislated to say "Amen" upon hearing the recitation of Al-Fatiha or a Qur'anic supplication? How should the head be moved during the two "hay'alahs" (Hayya 'ala al-Salah and Hayya 'ala al-Falah) in the Adhan? Was the Adhan chanted during the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him)? And should the salutation upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) be completed in the first Tashahhud? When should the finger cease to be moved in the first Tashahhud?

There are no precise figures for the duration of the word "Ameen." It can be adjusted by listening to it from a proficient imam.

Saying "Ameen" upon hearing the recitation of Al-Fatiha or other surahs is permissible and rewarded, because the one who says "Ameen" is considered to be supplicating.

It is recommended for the muezzin to turn his face to the right when saying "Hayya 'ala al-Salah (come to prayer)" and to the left when saying "Hayya 'ala al-Falah (come to success)," without moving his feet from the direction of the Qibla.

The first Tashahhud should be lightened and does not include the Salawat (prayers) upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) nor seeking refuge from the torment of the grave and other matters; these are specific to the last Tashahhud.

In the last Tashahhud, one can continue to supplicate until the imam finishes both salutations. It is disliked to supplicate after the imam's salutation.
