What is the ruling on hosting a person who drinks alcohol in one's home? May Allah reward you.

The permissibility of feeding needy disbelievers and transgressors is based on general evidence, such as "For every wet liver, there is a reward," and the Almighty's saying: "And they feed food, out of love for Him, to the needy, the orphan, and the captive," knowing that the captives were disbelievers. As for inviting transgressors to food with the aim of guiding and advising them, it is permissible. However, it is better to avoid inviting them to food and to prioritize relatives and the poor, and to avoid mixing with them, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Do not accompany anyone but a believer, and let no one eat your food except a pious person."
