Is one who faces problems at work because of his clarity and frankness in an environment characterized by malice, hatred, and envy, and who refuses to comply with demands that violate work regulations, considered sinful, given that the employer is aware of these problems but does not intervene?

We advise you to perform your work as required and not to betray the trust. If the nature of your work places you in a position of responsibility over others and they want you to overlook their transgressions, then do not obey them; for there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator. If the employer approves of the workers' violations, then contact him and be forthright with him about what you desire for the work. Your sinfulness or lack thereof depends on your fulfillment of your duty.
