What is the degree and interpretation of the Hadith: "There will come a time upon the people when their hearts will be like the hearts of non-Arabs, loving the world; their tradition will be the tradition of Bedouins; whatever provision comes to them, they will put it into animals; they will see Jihad as a harm and Zakat as a burden"?

The Hadith was narrated by Al-Harith as a mawquf (stopped) narration, and by Abu Ya'la as a marfu' (elevated) narration with a chain of transmission that includes Ibn Lahia. "Al-Hayawan" is an exaggeration of life. "Mughraman" means that its performance is difficult for them and they consider it a penalty and a calamity. Al-Albani graded it hasan (good). "Hearts of the A'ajim" means their hearts are far from the Creator and filled with hypocrisy and dissimulation, and "tongues of the Arabs" means they are boastful, verbose, and chameleon-like.
