Is a wife sinful if she abstains from childbearing for fear of God's wrath, due to the fatigue, stress, and depression she experiences during pregnancy, knowing that she does not desire to have children in the first place, and that her husband is indecisive in his opinion?

The blessing of children is immense; they are an adornment and a joy, and a treasure for a person after their death, and a large progeny increases the strength of the nation. It is permissible to regulate and delay pregnancy, or to be content with a certain number of children if this achieves a legitimate interest, and through a permissible means. Procreation is a shared right of both spouses, and it is permissible for the spouses to agree on being content with a certain number of children, provided that it is done through a means permissible by Islamic law that does not completely prevent procreation.
