Is the wife required to agree to an undertaking to provide a list of her dowry (jahaaz) as a condition for returning to her husband's home after previous disputes, especially after she signed a trust receipt (eesal amana) to affirm her love?

It is advisable to preserve the marital life and not seek divorce, for the sake of the child and out of necessity, along with performing Istikhara (prayer for guidance) and involving righteous people and relatives to persuade the husband to reconcile, without forcing him to go to the police. If he does not agree, there is no objection to going to the police after performing Istikhara to file the necessary report, informing him of this, and refusing to hand him the report until he gives the wife the trust receipt if she has not received the agreed-upon amount. The relationship should also be mended through prayer and showing kindness to the husband and his sister, as Allah says: ﴿Repel [evil] with that which is better; then verily he, between whom and you was enmity, [will become] as though he was a devoted friend.﴾ [Fussilat: 34]. She should also remain steadfast in obedience to Allah.
