Is work acquired from knowledge gained using pirated computer software considered haram, after repenting from using that software?

Many scholars have forbidden the copying of computer programs without the owner's permission, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) sayings: "Muslims are bound by their conditions," and "The wealth of a Muslim person is not lawful except with his willing consent." Therefore, using copied programs is not permissible. If a person repents from this act, his work after repentance is not considered unlawful, even if he developed his expertise through those programs.
