What is the ruling concerning a woman who committed suicide due to psychological pressures resulting from her husband's treatment of her (his drinking alcohol, severely beating her, and depriving her of financial support), and what are the duties of her family in this world to benefit her in the Hereafter?

Suicide is one of the gravest sins, as it constitutes taking a life that Allah has forbidden to kill except by right. It carries a severe warning. However, if the person who committed suicide died while believing, then their fate is subject to Allah's will. Their family should seek forgiveness for them, and if any of them performs a righteous deed and dedicates its reward to the deceased, it will reach them and benefit them.
