What is the ruling regarding a married woman who committed adultery, then repented and is now contemplating suicide, and what should she do?

A woman's feeling of the burden of sin is a sign of faith. She must:

1. Verify the validity of her first divorce and her second marriage contract.

2. Repent sincerely and regret what she has done, and resolve never to return to it, for Allah forgives all sins.

3. Hasten to perform good deeds and do many of them, for good deeds erase bad deeds.

4. Resume a pure Islamic life based on chastity and modesty, and stay away from suicide, which is one of the greatest sins.
