Which is easier: to continue in adultery with a married woman who threatens suicide, or to incite her to leave her husband and marry her, knowing that incitement (takhbib) is one of the grave sins?

Both of them must repent to Allah, because adultery is a grave and enormous crime, and its ugliness increases if the woman is married, due to the violation of her husband's honor involved. He is not permitted to continue with her in adultery under any circumstances, for jurists have explicitly stated that the threat of death does not permit committing adultery with a married woman. And inciting her to divorce in order to marry her is a great sin and a tremendous corruption. He must separate from her immediately and stay away from her, even if she commits suicide; there is no sin upon him for that, because she has wronged herself.
