A woman is not permitted to leave her husband's house without his permission. If she does so, she is considered disobedient (nashiz). Matters concerning your daughter, for which she must seek your permission before acting, are referred back to custom (urf). However, her traveling without your permission is not permissible, and the husband has the right to prevent her from traveling. If the mother is the custodian, she has the right to travel with the child in her custody, unless it is a travel for permanent relocation.
