Is continuing the partnership with a partner, after swearing to the father by triple divorce not to partner with him, considered disobedience to his father, knowing that the one who swore intended not to partner with the partner in only three things and not everything, and that this partnership is his sole source of income?

An oath is based on the intention of the swearer, unless he is an oppressor or the judge makes him swear it. If you swore not to partner with a man, intending only not to partner with him in specific matters, then it appears that you will not break your oath as long as you have not partnered with him in those matters you intended.

And if you are harmed by not partnering with this man, and the work is permissible, then you are not obligated to obey your father in abandoning it. For obedience to parents is not required in matters that harm the child, and you will not be considered disobedient.

Nevertheless, you must be dutiful to your father and keep him company with kindness, no matter how much he wrongs you. For the right of a parent is great, and showing kindness to him is a cause for Allah's pleasure and entry into Paradise. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The parent is the middle of the gates of Paradise, so if you wish, abandon this gate or preserve it."
