What is the ruling on delaying the wearing of the Ihram garments after entering into Ihram from the Miqat of Madinah, due to a health condition?

If a pilgrim delays wearing the ihram garments and wears sewn clothes after assuming ihram due to an excuse of illness, he owes a fidyah (expiation), but incurs no sin. The fidyah is a choice: either slaughtering a sacrificial animal (hady), or feeding six poor persons, or fasting for three days. This is based on the Almighty's saying: "And whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head, then a fidyah of fasting or charity or sacrifice."
