Is a suitor's abandonment of a girl—after she disclosed to him that she suffers from some health problems (slight scoliosis in her back, and her left brain hemisphere does not translate speech despite her hearing being good)—considered an acceptable reason, especially after she consulted religious scholars regarding this disclosure and they advised her not to mention it, and she dreamt of Quranic verses and other dreams indicating the completion of the marriage after performing Salat al-Istikhara, knowing that she believes her problem is not hereditary and does not prevent procreation, and she offered the suitor to consult a specialist doctor but he refused?

It is obligatory for both spouses to disclose any physical defects before marriage to prevent disputes, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." This is especially true for defects that prevent intercourse, or are repulsive, contagious, or dangerous, in which case the other party has the option to annul the marriage. As for hidden defects that are not repulsive and can be treated, there is no obligation to disclose them, although disclosure is more prudent. Visions and dreams are not a basis for legal rulings.
