The majority of scholars hold that the time for the Friday prayer begins at the sun's zenith and extends until the end of the Dhuhr prayer's time. There is no objection to delaying the Friday prayer as long as its time has not expired, though it is preferable to perform it at the beginning of its time. Authorities should facilitate the establishment of this ritual. Buying, selling, and renting are prohibited at the second call to prayer for the Friday prayer.
