Is it permissible for the Islamic Center in Bergamo, Italy, to perform the Friday prayer (Jumu'ah) after its prescribed time (1:22 PM) and delay it until after 1:00 PM due to work circumstances? And would the prayer then be considered acceptable?

The time for Jumu'ah prayer begins at the sun's decline (zawaal), which is the time for Dhuhr prayer. The majority of scholars hold that it is not permissible to perform Jumu'ah prayer before the entry of Dhuhr time. However, the Hanbalis are of the opinion that its time is the same as that of Eid prayer, and therefore, Jumu'ah prayer would be valid in the aforementioned center. The opinion of the majority is more cautious and more absolving of responsibility. Nevertheless, if it is impossible to pray after the sun's decline, it is permissible to adopt the Hanbali opinion when there is a need, as it is a recognized scholarly opinion.
