Is it permissible to remain with a wife who wears the hijab with trousers, prays, smokes, and has refused advice to stop smoking?

Residing in the lands of the disbelievers is not permissible except out of necessity, and the wife's character traits, which are displeasing to Islamic law, confirm the danger of such residence. The wife's hijab is obligatory, and wearing trousers is not part of the prescribed Shar'i hijab due to its resemblance to men and non-Muslims. Smoking cigarettes and tobacco is forbidden due to the harm it causes and the squandering of wealth. The husband is advised to continuously counsel his wife and guide her with gentleness and kindness, and to supplicate for her. If she persists (in her ways), he may divorce her. However, his patience with her and her treatment is better as long as she remains chaste and maintains her prayers.
