Is it permissible for the husband's family to see the hymen's blood, and what is the evidence for that?

This is an ugly habit and a heinous act, and it is impermissible for the husband to agree to it for several reasons:

1. It is among the secrets of marriage that are not permissible to disclose.

2. The blood discharged is not the decisive sign distinguishing an honorable woman from others.

3. It is presumed to conceal the wife's non-virginity, and this act leads to impermissible exposure.

4. It introduces anxiety and tension for the couple and may cause bleeding for the wife and aversion to the relationship.

5. It involves accusing the woman of committing indecency.

6. It contradicts modesty, and what occurs between spouses should be concealed.

It must be prevented and combated, as it is a remnant of the pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah).
