Is the confusion and hesitation I experienced regarding the repentance of Aisha and Hafsa, may Allah be pleased with them, after the revelation of Allah's verse: "If you two repent to Allah, then [indeed] your hearts have deviated," considered a disparagement of my loyalty to the Companions and the wives of the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, or a questioning of their righteousness, or a slandering of them? And does this have an impact on my Islam? And what is my duty after this, and what should I do in the future if a similar issue is presented to me? And should I stop thinking and weighing in on it by saying: "I will ask the people of knowledge"?

It is advised to disregard whispers related to the Companions and to think well of them, especially the Mothers of the Believers, believing in their virtue and righteousness. It also emphasizes the importance of dedicating time and effort to guiding contemporary Muslims. The repentance of the Mothers of the Believers, Aisha and Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with them), is evidenced by the Prophet's acceptance of them, his not replacing them, and their remorse and weeping. This is supported by verses and hadiths that clarify this. It is advised to stay away from شبهات (doubts/misconceptions), citing Ibn al-Qayyim's statement about Shaykh al-Islam regarding making the heart like a solid glass through which شبهات pass on its surface without settling within it.
