Working in public relations and receiving a fee for facilitating transactions is permissible as long as it is not associated with something forbidden, such as bribery, deception, an action prohibited by religious law, or a violation of a contractual condition. If the work is accompanied by something that renders it forbidden, then if the entire fee is forbidden, it is not permissible to partake of that money. However, if only part of the fee is forbidden, then partaking of that money is disliked (makruh) but not forbidden (haram), and piety dictates refraining from it.
