It is recommended to supplicate for the husband's betterment, for Allah is capable of all things. The husband's ill-manners and accusations against his wife contradict the Almighty's saying: "And live with them in kindness." His accusation of his wife's honor without proof is a great sin and forbidden espionage according to religious law. The wife has the right to sue him, and it is a tenet of Islamic etiquette that affection should prevail among in-laws. It is advisable for wise individuals to intervene for reconciliation; if reconciliation is not achieved, then the matter is either to keep her honorably or release her kindly.
