What is the ruling on طرق in Islam?

Sufi orders are reprehensible; some are disbelief and some are innovation, because the obligatory path to follow is the path of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, as stated in His Almighty saying: (And indeed, this is My straight path, so follow it) Al-An'am/153, and His saying: (And whatever the Messenger has given you - take it; and whatever he has forbidden you - refrain from) Al-Hashr/7.

And Allah's straight path is what the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, brought, and it is the path of the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. As for the Sufi orders, they contain shirk (polytheism), such as worshipping some of their sheikhs and seeking their aid, abandoning the sciences of the Sunnah, some of them saying: "My heart told me from my Lord," not recognizing the Sharia, and some of the murids (disciples) saying: "You must submit to the sheikh's state and will, and not object to him, and be with him like a dead person in the hands of the washer." All these are corrupt and misguided paths.
