Is it permissible to obey one's father in agreeing to accept labor support – which is unlawful – given that he is harmed by being prevented from receiving an allowance and going to school?

If a father orders his son to devise a stratagem to unlawfully take money from the state, then obedience in that matter is not permissible. It is obligatory upon the son to honor his father and treat him kindly without causing harm. Part of honoring him is to advise the father with what is right and forbid him from what is wrong, gently and politely, without violence or harshness in speech, while distinguishing between advising parents and advising others.
