The son of the deceased completely bars the brothers and sisters from inheritance, so they inherit nothing with him, whether they are full siblings, or paternal or maternal half-siblings. The scholars have unanimously agreed that full siblings and paternal half-siblings, whether male or female, do not inherit with the son or grandson. Therefore, a half-sister does not inherit if a son is present.
