The paternal half-brother (brother of the deceased from the father's side) is among the heirs if the deceased has no father, no male offspring, no full brother, and no full sister, and if there is a daughter of the deceased. In this case, he inherits what remains after the sharers of the fixed shares have taken their portions; otherwise, he is excluded. As for the sons of a full brother, they inherit under the same conditions, with the additional condition that there is no paternal half-brother of the deceased. If they are sons of a paternal half-brother, then an additional condition is that there are no sons of a full brother. As for the sons of a maternal half-brother, they do not inherit.
