Is money earned from working on website updates for a telecommunications company, which includes receiving and distributing television content such as packages, movies, and series that subscribers can sign up for through the company, considered unlawful money, given that this is part of the work and not its primary basis?

Working in a company that has both permissible and forbidden fields is allowed only in the permissible fields. One must avoid work related to forbidden movies, TV series, and the like, for Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." If you are compelled to do work that is forbidden by Sharia, it is not permissible to continue except out of necessity, while searching for another job. If a part of the work is forbidden and you are not compelled, then donate the equivalent of this part of your salary to general Muslim welfare.
