What is the ruling on a husband having intercourse with his wife without reciting the supplication, "O Allah, distance Satan from us, and distance Satan from that which You have provided us"?

The aforementioned supplication is among the استحباب (recommended acts) for intercourse and is not obligatory, based on Allah's saying: "And put forth [righteousness] for yourselves," and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "If any of you, when coming to his wife, were to say: 'In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep us away from Satan and keep Satan away from what You have provided for us,' and a child is destined between them, Satan will never harm it."
