If a woman becomes ritually impure (junub) and her menstrual period begins on the same day, does she perform ghusl?

A menstruating woman, if she becomes জুনুব (in a state of major ritual impurity requiring ghusl), is not required to perform ghusl until her menstruation ends. Then, she performs one ghusl for both janabah and menstruation. However, if she performs ghusl for janabah during her menstrual period, her ghusl is valid, the state of janabah is removed, and she is permitted to recite the Quran.
