Has the woman become purified with the discharge of yellowish or brownish fluid, or should she have waited for the white discharge (al-Qassah al-Bayda’) for ghusl?

A woman knows she is pure by one of two signs: complete dryness or seeing the white discharge. Seeing the white discharge is not a prerequisite; whichever of the two signs appears first indicates purity. If a woman performs ghusl after seeing dryness, her ghusl is valid. However, if she performs ghusl while doubtful about her purity, the default is that menstruation persists, and she must repeat the ghusl.
