Is it possible that a day will come when no one remains in Hellfire, due to all its inhabitants exiting it, based on the narrations of the Companions and the Successors?

The narrations (athar) that indicate the annihilation of Hellfire have not been authenticated in their chain of transmission (isnad), and some of them are not explicit on this issue. These narrations contradict the numerous proofs from the Qur’an and Sunnah that confirm the perpetual stay of disbelievers in Hellfire. Al-Qurtubi affirmed that the hadiths explicitly state the eternal dwelling of the inhabitants of Hellfire therein, without end. Thus, whoever claims their exit from it has deviated from what the Messenger brought and what the Ahlus-Sunnah have agreed upon. The opinion of the annihilation of Hellfire is a reprehensible and rejected doctrine, and it has been extensively discussed in the book "Raf' Al-Astar li-Ibtal Adillat Al-Qa'ilin bi-Fana' An-Nar" (Raising the Curtains to Refute the Proofs of Those Who Claim the Annihilation of Hellfire).
