What is the ruling on saying "wa ta'alayt" (and You are Most Exalted) after "wa tabarakta" (and You are Most Blessed) in the post-prayer remembrances (adhkar), and does it have an origin, and what is Sheikh Ibn Baz's fatwa on it?

It has not been reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "And You are exalted (wa ta'alayt)" after saying: "You are blessed (tabarakta)" in the dhikr reported after prayer. Rather, what is established is: "O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor (Ya Dha'l-Jalali wa'l-Ikram)" or "Possessor of Majesty and Honor (Dha'l-Jalali wa'l-Ikram)." Scholars have affirmed that the addition of "And You are exalted (wa ta'alayt)" in this specific context is not established, even though it is established in other supplications such as the Qunut supplication and the opening supplication (Du'a al-Istiftah). It is recommended to adhere to the remembrances reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, without addition or subtraction.
