The answer

If the production and possession of images and statues of anything with a soul, whether human or animal, is forbidden, then their sale and purchase are also forbidden. It is authentically reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he forbade the sale of alcohol, dead meat, pigs, and idols. And whatever is forbidden to be eaten or utilized, its sale is not permissible. Sheikh Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him) emphasized the impermissibility of selling and trading statues, because it involves promoting and assisting in their depiction and establishment, and that earning from them is unlawful.
