Does triple divorce count as one divorce or three divorces if uttered by the husband in a state of anger, knowing that the cause of anger was the wife's demand for the return of her gold, which the husband sold to resolve a crisis, and then lent its price to his brother?

If a man pronounces a divorce while fully aware of what he is saying, then his wife becomes unlawful for him according to the majority of scholars, including the four Imams of the madhhabs. She does not become lawful for him again until she marries another man, consummates the marriage with him, and then he divorces her. However, if his anger was so severe that he was not aware of what he was saying, then nothing is incumbent upon him. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah holds the view that only a single divorce is incumbent upon him, and he may take her back before her iddah (waiting period) is complete, provided this divorce does not complete the count of three.

The husband must prioritize paying his wife's debt over lending money to his brother, as long as he is capable of fulfilling it, because "delaying payment by a rich person is injustice."

It is not permissible for a wife to seek a divorce without a valid Shari excuse. As stated in the hadith: "Any woman who asks her husband for a divorce without any problem, the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her."
