The answer

The suitor is a stranger to the fiancée as long as the marriage contract has not been concluded. It is not permissible for him to be alone with her or to touch her. The Shari'ah only permits him to look at her to the extent that it encourages him to marry her. The questioner and her suitor must repent from the sins they have committed and cease all communication until the marriage contract is concluded with its conditions. If the legal guardian refuses to marry her off, the matter can be brought before the Sharia judge. No meeting is permissible between the suitor and the fiancée unless the legal contract is concluded. Patience in abstaining from sin is easier than patience with the torment of Hell.
