Are we sinful if we do not evict the tenant from our agricultural land, and this causes our uncle to sever ties with us, knowing that the fault is shared between them and we do not want to wrong the tenant?

The sin of cutting off kinship ties falls upon the one who severs them. It is better for you to appease your uncle and maintain ties of kinship with him, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A man's paternal uncle is like his father," meaning like his father, in exaltation of his right. This is further emphasized if the tenant is harming the uncle. In such a case, it is preferable not to renew the lease agreement with him upon its expiration, as the contract cannot be terminated during its term except with the tenant's consent.
