Is praying for the hastening of provision considered the blameworthy impatience that prevents the prayer from being answered?

There is no harm in saying: "O Allah, hasten for me such and such" from sustenance or children. The hastening that is prohibited is the supplicant's desire for an immediate response, such that he abandons the supplication if the response is delayed.
