We advise the questioner to focus on what benefits them, as knowing the meanings of the prophets' names does not entail any ruling, nor does ignorance of them cause harm. What is obligatory is to believe in the prophets generally, and in those mentioned specifically in the Qur’an. There are twenty-five prophets: eighteen of them are mentioned in Surah Al-An'am, and seven are scattered. Most of their names are non-Arabic, and one can refer to language dictionaries to find their meanings.
