Is using a program that detects hidden users on Messenger permissible or forbidden?

If the program only detects the Messenger's open status without spying on messages, it is better to avoid it to preserve the Muslim's privacy. However, if it leads to spying and accessing messages and conversations, then it is not permissible to use it, due to Allah Almighty's prohibition of spying, and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) prohibition of it, and the warning to anyone who eavesdrops on people who dislike being overheard.
