Why does a man, upon consummating his marriage with his wife, recite the supplication: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from her evil and the evil of that which she was created upon, and I ask You for her good and the good of that which she was created upon," while the wife is not commanded to recite the same supplication?

The aforementioned , "O Allah, I ask You for its goodness and the goodness of what You have instilled in it, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what You have instilled in it," is not exclusive to men. It is desirable for women to supplicate with it because there is no difference between them in seeking refuge in Allah from evils and disliked things.
