Is it true that uttering: "O Allah, forgive Muslim men and women, and believing men and women, those who are alive among them and those who are dead" is rewarded with a good deed for every Muslim man and woman, living and dead?

The Hadith narrated by Al-Tabarani from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) states that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever seeks forgiveness for believing men and believing women, Allah will record a good deed for him for every believing man and every believing woman." Its chain of narration is good, and Al-Albani graded it as hasan (good). However, it does not include the addition: "those alive among them and those deceased." This addition was reported from 'Amir al-Sha'bi and Samurah (may Allah be pleased with them both).
