What are the verses that address children's rights in Islam?

There are numerous Quranic verses that address the rights of the child. Some indicate that children are the adornment of this worldly life, and that procreation is a gift from Allah (both males and females). They also speak of the right to life and the prohibition of killing children, the right to breastfeeding for two full years, in addition to the right to upbringing and good nurturing, as seen in Luqman's admonitions to his son. The Prophetic Sunnah complements these rights by mentioning the right to lineage and choosing a good name.
