What is the ruling on paying a sum to companies that undertake to repair or transport a broken-down vehicle on the road, which is known as "breakdown insurance"?

Insurance contracts based on gharar (excessive uncertainty) are prohibited. This gharar is evident in paying an amount (200 Riyals) in exchange for a service that the person may or may not benefit from. The fatwas of the scholars are explicit in prohibiting this type of commercial insurance and similar forms. However, if it is possible to contract with a company that provides known and fixed services, such as oil changes, provision of instructions, and periodic maintenance, in addition to car towing in case of breakdown, we hope there is no harm in that, and it serves as a solution to the aforementioned problem.
