Is it permissible to be absent from Friday prayer in the mosque and suffice with performing it at home if the preacher is weak in style and repetitive, which causes boredom and drowsiness to the attendees, knowing that there is no other mosque in the village?

It is not permissible to miss the Friday prayer except for a legitimate excuse, due to the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, when [the adhan (definition)] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah, then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew."
